Disabling of the SFTP Mailboxes


Prior to the implementation of the CGDP Portal on September 1, 2015, Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) mailboxes provided Manufacturers the ability to submit disputes and retrieve dispute-related reports and responses.
 
The CGDP Portal now provides the same functionality of the SFTP Mailboxes and beginning with the Q1 2016 quarterly invoice distribution, new dispute submission functionality is available that renders the SFTP mailboxes obsolete. After monitoring the SFTP Mailboxes since the launch of the CGDP Portal, the TPA has noted negligible usage of the mailboxes.
 
The TPA plans to disable all SFTP Mailbox access effective July 1, 2016.
 
For CGDP participating entities that feel that loss of access to SFTP Mailboxes will result in your company’s inability to submit disputes and fulfill the Coverage Gap Discount Program requirements, please contact the TPA immediately to discuss your concerns.
